I grew up in the Hutt Valley and attended the University of Otago. I commenced practice in a litigation firm in the Hutt Valley shortly after completing my degree in 2008. Following that, I worked in firms in Lower Hutt and Wellington and began specialising in family law. In 2016 I was approved as Lawyer for Child and previously represented many children on matters ranging in complexity.

In 2019, I began practice as a barrister on my own account. 

More recently, my practice has consisted mainly of Family Dispute Resolution Mediation. I am an accredited mediator and FDR provider and a professional member of the Resolution Institute. I enjoy working with families to assist them to achieve outcomes through the mediation process that serve their children’s best interests.

I have served on a number of committees including the New Zealand Law Society Standards Committee and the Wellington Family Courts Association and was appointed the Hutt Valley Representative to the Family Law Section between 2017 and 2018.  

In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, travel and spending time with friends and family.
